Summary

A good summary is essential for a well kept patient chart. With Ofys, you see all relevant information in one glance and you can edit it simply by clicking on the information you want to change.

Anything you prescribe is automatically added to the summary, as are diagnoses you enter in your note, if you wish them to be.

You can also display the summary in a second window and move it to your second screen, and it will follow the file you are currently consulting.

Finding information

Finding information in a patient's chart is quick and easy.

• Use the quick search box to search through written notes, forms, documents, labs, messages, and tasks.
• Use the ‘Visits Browser’ to view all the notes and prescriptions in one page, depending on the filters you choose (by professional or group of professionals who wrote the note, by date range, etc.)
• View all items related to the file in chronological order, such as notes, messages, tasks, documents or consultation requests, for example.

Ofys being the fastest EMR on the market, every action is instantaneous, no matter how voluminous the patient file.

Laboratory results

Electronic lab results in Ofys are a real time-saver.

By sliding the mouse cursor over a lab data, the last 9 results for this test appear in a tooltip, and the last 50 results appear as a graph.

You can send a result as a message to a colleague or to the patient, link it to a clinical note, write a comment, create graphs for tracking, and so on. You can also consult a lab result at the same time as you write the clinical note, and a simple click on a result allows you to copy it and paste it into the note.

Clinical monitoring

Clinical monitoring also allows you to create customizable graphs to observe trends. You can even display the patient's medication on the graph's timeline to see its effect.

Questionnaires

Questionnaires can be automatically sent to patients via Ofys. For example, a patient with a "New Patient" appointment could automatically receive a health questionnaire to fill out, which you will then see filled out in their file.

In addition, a questionnaire can be automatically sent to all patients that have an in-person appointment a few hours before the start of the appointment, for example a Covid screening questionnaire.

You also have access to all of RxVigilance's tools: comparison tables, information on antibiotic therapy, professional documentation, therapeutic indications, pregnancy calculation tool and patient information sheets.

Quebec Health Record (QHR)

Ofys is the only EMR that lets you download all the QHR data for all the patients in your day with a single click. There's no need to re-enter your password, and you can even view this QHR data on another computer (even with your Mac) for the rest of the day.

Ofys also allows import of medication, export of new prescriptions, consultation and import of laboratory results, and viewing of imaging reports.

Paper reduction: electronic transmission

Ofys allows one step closer to a paperless clinic:

Ofys has its own free patient portal, Sofy. Moreover, Sofy never refers your patients elsewhere.

SofyExpress, the simplified version of the portal, also allows patients to make an appointment quickly and easily from the clinic's website, without having to connect to a portal.

Appointments booked with Sofy appear instantly in Ofys: no double entry needed.

Appointment orchestrator (Hub)

Ofys is connected to the government appointment orchestrator (Hub) for front-line clinics.

In addition, the Sofy - Rendez-vous Hub platform is also connected to the provincial appointment orchestrator. This enables patients to search for an appointment among all the appointments available on the government platform! Patients can also access it directly via their patient portal.

For clinics, this platform gives access to automatic appointment confirmation by text message, e-mail and phone. Also, this portal centralizes your services, making the process even more user-friendly!

RAMQ billing

Ofys is linked to the billing softwares Xacte, facturation.net and FMP. The latter is a RAMQ billing software used by several billing agencies, including DBS and Medijuris.

Fill out your billing chit from your EMR and send it to your billing agency or the RAMQ in one click, and view the status of your bills directly in Ofys.

Billing report

Ofys also lets you generate a pre-billing report. This is used to create a report that you can send to the person doing your RAMQ billing, either as a pdf document or in csv format, which can be imported by certain billing softwares. An easy-to-use feature that saves time in your daily tasks!

Sofy Patient Portal

Use the Sofy patient portal to send messages, results and requests to your patients securely directly from their chart, and be notified when the patient has read your message.

The Sofy portal also allows patients to book appointments online with their clinic and view their list of past and future appointments.

The portal is included with the Ofys licences!

Family management

Parents can also access the Sofy accounts of their children under the age of 14, if the clinic gives them access. For people over 14, it is also possible to delegate access to a person in charge (e.g., for disabled people or seniors).

OfysData is a dashboard that allows treating professionals to consult statistical data about their patients.

This portal is included with the Ofys license and any treating professional has access to it via their Ofys Pro dashboard.

Expecting results

This feature allows you to keep track of the requests you make. Simply indicate how soon you expect to receive a result when you create a request. After the indicated date, if you haven't said that it is received, the patient will appear in your dashboard in the "Late results" section.

This tool makes it much easier to keep track of requests, without adding extra work!
