How GMF Ormstown adapted to a new EMR in 24 hours

In March 2021 in the MRC du Haut-Saint-Laurent, GMF Ormstown experienced two major changes: a clinic move and a change of EMR.

Introduced to Logiciels Info-Data by Plakett Services Cliniques, it is after a rigorous analysis of the Electronic Medical Records on the market that the two physician owners, Dr. Catherine Bélanger and Dr. Justin Wight, chose Ofys.

During the same month, they had to manage a move to new premises, including a renewal of computer equipment, followed by a change of EMR. These major changes, which can take several weeks to adapt to, went smoothly for this team from Montérégie.

On the second day of implementation of the EMR, Dr. Catherine Bélanger told us over lunch that thanks to Ofys, she had time to eat lunch, see more patients than usual and simply have a less stressful day.
